My studio: Paints

My studio: Paints

Recently, I've received a few questions from my followers about what materials I use to create my paintings. This question is very important because the quality of the materials has a huge impact on the final effect and durability of the work. I'd like to share some details on this topic so that you can better understand my creative process.

I usually use high-quality paints from well-known brands. My favorites include Lefranc Bourgeois, Golden, and Liquitex. These companies have a long tradition of producing artist paints and are valued by many professional painters around the world. The paints from these brands are characterized by intense colors, good consistency, and durability. This ensures that my paintings will look great for many years.

Sometimes I also use less popular products. Occasionally, I come across local producers who offer really interesting paints with unique properties. Such experimentation allows me to discover new techniques and effects that I can apply to my work.

Everything depends on the final effect I want to achieve. Sometimes I need paints with particularly high transparency, other times I'm looking for something that will give me an intense, matte color. It is important that the paints mix well and allow for free experimentation with textures and techniques. For instance, when creating abstract paintings, I often use thicker paints that allow me to create expressive impastos.

The most important thing, however, is quality. This is my main criterion when choosing paints. It doesn't make sense to skimp on materials because low-quality paints can ruin all the effort put into creating a painting. Good paints have the right pigmentation, are durable, and resistant to fading. This ensures that my paintings will remain vibrant for a long time and retain their freshness.

In summary, the choice of paints is extremely important to me. I strive to use the best products available, but I'm not afraid to experiment with new ones. Quality always comes first because I believe that only then can I achieve the best results and create something truly exceptional. If you have any more questions about my work, feel free to ask – I’m happy to share my experiences!
